Cedar City flooring consultations
Compare new floors without leaving your Cedar City home.
We bring hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank samples to you. Tanner handles qualifying Cedar City appointments as part of our Southern Utah service area.
Start with the rooms and conditions
A main level, an entry and a basement may need different preparation even when you want the same finished look. During the visit, we discuss the subfloor, indoor temperature and humidity, water exposure, stairs and transitions. The manufacturer's requirements for the selected floor guide the installation.
For a home used seasonally, tell us how it is heated and maintained between visits. For an occupied remodel, we can define the room sequence and access needs before agreeing on the installation schedule.
Your consultation checklist
- List the rooms, closets and stairs you want included.
- Tell us which existing floors need removal and any areas that squeak, move or show moisture.
- Compare samples against fixed finishes and the light in each room.
- Review preparation, materials, installation, trim and transitions in the written quote.
- Confirm product timing and access before choosing an installation date.
Three materials to compare
Our Cedar City service is an in-home visit, not a Cedar City storefront. Coverage is verified by project address and normal driving time from St. George. The booking page shows Tanner's available appointments after it checks your address.
Meet the Southern Utah service →Cedar City flooring questions
Can I book a flooring consultation in Cedar City?
Yes. Cedar City is part of our Southern Utah service area when the project address is within a two-hour drive of St. George. Enter your address to confirm coverage and see available appointment times with Tanner.
Do I need to visit a flooring store first?
No. We bring hardwood, laminate and LVP samples to your home. Compare them against your cabinets, wall colors and lighting, then discuss the installation quote in the same visit.
Can the same flooring run from my main level into the basement?
Possibly. The selected product must be approved for each location and meet the subfloor and moisture requirements. We also plan stairs, transitions and height changes. A continuous look should not come at the expense of the installation requirements.
How should I prepare for the visit?
Note the rooms you want to replace, any stairs or moisture concerns, and whether you need removal of existing flooring. Keep access to those spaces clear and have everyone involved in the material decision available for the consultation.
