We bring the showroom to you.
Plank & Go is a Utah-owned mobile flooring showroom. We carry the samples to your door — so you can see hardwood, LVP, and laminate in your actual space before you decide.
Why did we start Plank & Go?
I'm fourth-generation in the flooring business. I started doing floors with my dad when I was 12 years old. The original family flooring company was in Dallas, TX. My dad ran his own retail flooring business here in Salt Lake City for 25 years. I put myself through undergrad, an MBA, and law school running my own hardwood company, ABM Hardwood. After that I ran Armory Floors out in Houston. Both of my brothers still install flooring with their own companies to this day. You could say it's in the blood.
After all those years in the industry, I kept watching the same thing happen. Homeowners would drive to two or three stores, grab samples, haul them home, hold them up under kitchen lighting that looked nothing like the showroom — and still not feel confident when they finally pulled the trigger. Some of them ended up with a floor they regretted.
The problem was obvious: the samples were never in the right place. You can't make a good flooring decision under a showroom's fluorescent lights. You need to see it in your space, against your walls, next to your furniture. That's when the right floor becomes obvious.
I also knew how much overhead a retail flooring store carries — rent, advertising, employees, utilities, inventory. It's really expensive, and those costs get passed straight to the homeowner. I wanted to build something leaner and more homeowner-friendly. A flooring company that comes to you in the comfort of your home, without all the overhead, so I could pass the savings on to you.
That's Plank & Go. A curated selection of hardwood, LVP, and laminate — right to your door, anywhere across the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County. You see the options where they'll actually live. You make the call with confidence. We handle the rest.

What makes Plank & Go different?
Most flooring companies are built around inventory. We're built around your decision. We carry hardwood, LVP, and laminate — three categories, a tight selection, nothing you don't need. That focus means we know every product we bring to your door, and we can tell you honestly which one is the right fit for your space.
We also keep it full-service. One point of contact from the first sample to the final plank. Materials, installation, and cleanup on a single invoice. No coordinating between a store and a separate crew. No surprises.
And we keep it no pressure. If the right answer for your mudroom is the $3.50/sq ft LVP rather than the $10/sq ft hardwood, we'll tell you that. We're not here to upsell you — we're here to get it right.
Is Plank & Go licensed and insured?
Plank & Go is a Utah-licensed contractor operating out of the Salt Lake Valley. We're fully insured and every install is handled by our licensed installer. When we come to your home, you can count on us to be on time, do the work right, and leave the space cleaner than we found it.
We're a small, local operation — and we think that's a strength. You're not dealing with a call center or a rotating crew. You're dealing with us.
