Homeowners usually ask the same question: “Is Bjelin just fancy engineered hardwood?”
Short answer: it is still a wood floor with a layered construction, but Bjelin’s Woodura line is specified as cured / hardened wood with a densified wood surface—not a conventional thin veneer story alone. Plank & Go is an authorized Bjelin dealer and installer in Utah (not exclusive). We also install traditional engineered lines from other manufacturers we carry.

When traditional engineered still wins
- You want a specific species or width Bjelin does not publish
- You prefer a factory finish look from another mill we carry (Reward, Regal, etc.)
- Budget or design direction points elsewhere—and that is fine
When Woodura is worth a sample visit
- You want wood aesthetics with published scratch/wear metrics
- You like plank or herringbone patterns in Bjelin’s stain range (Powder White, Natural, Misty White, Terra Brown, Earth Grey, and others on current SKUs)
- You want one dealer-installer who can also quote laminate or LVP alternatives the same day
